Artist Statement

Decorative ceramics is my favorite medium. I chose clay as the material for my contemporary creations based on my impressions of the old petroglyphs. Used by the ancient people, ceramic still has life and use today. It is also a material close to natural rock and stone. To connect my ceramic panels, I use raffia and wood or cinnamon sticks - all natural materials.

Using different elements and symbols from the rock drawings, I intend to reflect and bring back in each of my ceramic creations the daily life of the ancient people. The warm, simple, and clear style of my creations makes them suitable for every contemporary interior. They offer a powerful echo from the past and a minute of silence in our busydaily lives.

My new collections are based on elements from nature and wildlife. Different floral and seasonal motives are combined in my wall vase designs. My creations are a beautiful addition and an accent to any home interior.
